The martyr: Ahmed Abu Humaid “Abu Al-Iz”

Prepared a lot of Mujahideen

The Palestinian people suffer a lot from the Zionist aggressions, and there are the brave men who defend the lands and the people and they introduce their soles as to the precious country, Palestine. Ahmed said good bye to his friends after graduating a lot of the Mujahideen, he also said good bye to his neighbors after teaching them swimming skills.

He passed away after a Zionist air strike when he was defending his country. He passed away by his body with a high dignity; he chose the way of resist the lands. He left the life after discovering the Zionist Special Forces which broke into Al-Toffah neighborhood. Then, the Zionist planes shelled his friend and him. 

Birthhood:-

He was born in 1984 in Al-Toffah neighborhood near Al-Mahata mosque. His family consists of 9 persons and he is the third one among his brothers. The atmosphere of his family was special because his family is committed with the Islam religion teachings and morals.

His relations with parents:-

His father said,” Ahmed was a distinctive man that he had never made me angry at him.” He added,” He was an obedient man and he liked to build friendships a lot ‘another distinctive feature of Ahmed that he was a secret man as I didn’t anything about his activities’”.

His relations with neighbors:-

He had the feature of respecting the neighbors and the good morals that he used to encourage the youth to pray in the mosques. He shared his neighborhood in their occasions and he used to ask about those who don’t pray in the mosque in order to advise them to the right way.

His education:-

He studied the preparatory stage in Al-Toffah schools. He studied in Salah Al-Deen preparatory school, and then he finished the primary stage in Yafa School to join the secondary stage of Abdulftah Hemod School. Finally, he affiliated the school of industry in “Deir Al-Balah” and he chose the major of electronics.

Unfortunately, he didn’t complete his study in the major due to the high fess of the college that then he turned to another major in the Applied and professional sciences college and he got a diploma in a secretary. After that he worked as a secretary in the ministry of education in Al-Shohada school for 6 months then he moved to work as a secretary in the ministry of finance.

With the Islamic Block:-

He participated with the Islamic Block activities, he used to distribute the periodicals and details which display the trustful of the people with the Islamic religion and to defend the right .Despite of the difficulties which was been faced from the faculty , he passed his way to spread out the Islamic invitation.  

Keep up with the mosque:-

He keep up with prayers, especially the dawn prayer” Al-*Fajer” .And despite his hard work in the training unit in Al-Toffah area, he had never waste the prayers. He shared his friends in organizing the visits and the demonstrations in the neighborhood which is held by Hamas movement.

Skillful swimmer:-

Ahmed shared his friends and brotherhood the journeys to the sea of Gaza and he used to go at winter to the sea. On of Ahmed’s friends say that he took many courses in swimming and he saved many of those who don’t have the skills of swimming.

With Al-Qassam Brigades:-

After he insisted to join the Al-Qassam Brigades for many times, he affiliated the Al-Qassam Brigades in 2003 and he began work and struggle with them against the enemies of Allah. He was a distinctive member in Al-Qassam Brigades” The Military Wing” .This thing made the way easy for him to affiliate many courses which related  the military side.

The jihad:-

Ahmed shared his brotherhoods in facing the Zionist incursions to Al-Toffah neighborhood and he was one of the most brilliant persons. He was one of the main members who faced the Zionist invaded tanks in his area. His friends confirmed that he launched the Zionist bulldozer with three mortars and they said that he targeted it. At the same day and after this target he moved to another place that he targeted a Zionist tank with two Qassam rockets. He was confined by the Zionist forces in the area where he launched the rockets, but fortunately Allah saved him. 

Traveling abroad:-

He was charged by his brotherhoods in the military wing to travel abroad in order to take the necessary military courses which are useful for the special military and security operations. He came back again from abroad to affiliate the special unit for the Ezzedeen Al-Qassam Brigades and participated in many activities such as, putting the ambushes.

Martyrdom date:-

In 7^th of February,2008, Ahmed went out accompanied with the martyr Hamoda Al-Shorafa , Ahmed’s brother said,” Ahmed got out with his friend towards the place where they resist always, the Zionist forces saw them and opened their fir at Ahmed and his friend from the helicopter plane , then he martyred at that day.” Ahmed left this life because he knew that the only means of liberating Palestine is only the resistance.
