The martyr: Mahmoud Jamal Daoud Al-Qirm

Martyrdoms' Date: 17th of January,2008

Hometown: Al-Sabra neighborhood

 

Mahmoud loved to defend his occupied land from the Zionist daily attacks and assaults. He chose the way of Jihad because he witnessed the Zionist incursions and raids against the unarmed and innocent people in the Gaza strip and the West Bank.

 

Childhood:

 
He was born in 1985 in a piety and patient family in Al-Sabra neighborhood in Gaza city. The family was living in "Yafa" city which they were immigrated from it by the Zionist savage forces which face the Palestinian civilians to leave it. The leader Mahmoud based on the teachings of  the Islamic religion. He wanted to sacrifice his soul for the sake of his religion as first and his Palestine country as second.

 

Education stage:

 

He had his preparatory studies in Gaza school . He continued his primary education from Al-Zaytoun school and the secondary stage from Al-Karmil school.

Mahmoud quit his study in order to help his father in work, then he left his father's work to work in the applied science college as a policeman in the college .

 

The Obedient man:

 

His mother said that he was an obedient man and he was making a lot of good friendship among his neighbors. He was helping his brothers in the house, and he was serving and applying their requires. His mother added that he was always asking her to forgive him and to win with martyrdom. Every member of the family was like to site along with Mahmoud because he was speaking always about the Islamic teachings and principles.

 

In Al-Qassam Brigades:

 

He joined Ezzedeen Al-Qassam Brigades at the beginning of the year 2006 , that was after the urgency from him to his brotherhoods. His role in Al-Qassam Brigades for was to protect the national project and defending of the Islamic government in Palestine. He was also within the Mujahideen unit .

 

Mahmoud liked the Mujahid Ashraf Al-Ashi, they were always with each other in the mosque and also in the resistance activities. They undertook to take avenge of the innocent people of Palestine from the Zionist entity.

 

He  participated in a lot of the resistance activities which included launching the Qassam rockets towards the Zionist settlements and vehicles which invade the Palestinian lands.

 

His active life:


The had the feature of performing the prayers at the mosque and he was praying on time. Mahmoud joined Al-Qassam Brigades in 2004 and quickly he joined the sniping groups affiliated to the military wing of Hamas movement. Then, he participated in launching the Qassam rockets towards the Zionist settlements .

Meanwhile, he became a field commander in the Al-Qassam artillery in Al-Sabra area.

 

One of Mahmud's friends mentioned that Mahmoud exploded a Zionist tank in the incursion to northern Gaza , this  operation was called " Anger days".

  

Martyrdom:

 

After a Zionist raid from the Zionist war planes in 17th of January ,2008 to a group affiliated to Al-Qassam Brigades in Al-Sabra neighborhood western Gaza city.

 

At that day, there were three martyrs: The field commander Ashraf Al-Ashi, Mahmoud Al-Banna and Shadi Qutifan. After that Mahmoud Al-Qirm joined them after he stayed for a week in the hospital. He left this life to catch the good and brave Mujahideen who scarified their lives to bring the hope to the Palestinian people in Gaza and in the West Bank.
