The Qassam martyr “Walid Tawfiq Abu Yousif”

Date of birth: 15th of August, 1986

Hometown: Al-Nussairat

Date of martyrdom : 3rd of March,08

He lived as the grate men:

From the area inhabited with pain and hope , he came as a new martyr telling us chapters about the courage novels. It is the Al-Qassam great lines. We are speaking about the great men who sacrificed their soles for the sake  of Allah and for the sake of liberating Palestine from the Zionist entity.

His childhood:

The Al-Qassam knight, Walid Abu Yousif, was born in 15th of August, 1986. He lived in a family liked the Jihad activities and loved Palestine a lot. The family is from Bir Al-Sabih. The Zionist forces immigrated its inhabitants by force.

His family learnt him the land comes only by resistance, he have got eleven brothers and sisters. He studied the preparatory stage in the UNRWA schools and the primary stage from Al-Nussairat camp schools. Then, he moved to study in a training center “course in electricity”.

His features:

Our martyr privileged by the good manners and morals, that he was famous for his commitment in the prayer, especially in the mosque. He used to pray in Abullahazam mosque and he didn't miss to pray Al-Fajer prayer in the mosque.

An important thing about the martyr was that he used to speak little words.

He  distinguished by avoiding the absence and defamation places that he used to leave the position or the Council fast, he considered that it is so great sins and calamity we should not speak behind others.

He was famous for his truthfulness and he used to speak the truth with his friends and neighborhoods.

Also he was well-known for his strong cooperation, whether inside or outside the family, with his brothers, his mosque brotherhoods and he was often helped his brothers in accomplishing many of the tasks and general matters of personal and specific acts to them in their homes and in particular of electricity, and he helped a lot of brotherhoods that many of them are witnessing this thing today.

Walid was famous for expedition frequently worship, and his pronouncements for the night and he was repeated his call for the brotherhoods, as well as breeding of fasting.

In this connection, one of the leading of the mosque of  martyr Ezzedeen Al-Qassam that he used to stay in the mosque during the month of Ramadan over the past years, and retiring the last ten days of Ramadan in the mosque also.

Walid was struggling in bold to tell the truth, one of his brotherhoods said that Walid was criticizing the fault directly whether the error was small or big, all persons are the same in the word of right.

Walid was known by his obedience to his parents, especially his mother who was respecting so much.  He had a feature for loving all his friends and brotherhoods .

Resistance:

As we mentioned, Walid use to pray in Abullahazam mosque. Meanwhile, he has become one of the main active persons in the mosque. He was a great clergyman. Due to his work in the invitation activities and his role in the mosque pushed him to affiliate the Islamic invitation. That was in 2005, after that date he has become a brave man working in all parts of the invitation activities without any hesitations or tediousness.

He used to attend all the sessions whatever the conditions were. He was considering the session as a must duty. So, he is considered as a great leader.

In 2006, he became a member in Al-Qassam Brigades and he began a new stage in the resistance and struggle.

Walid specialized in the air armature and he took a lot of military courses which were as follow:-

1. He took a course in how to prepare a fighter.
2. Courses in activations.

His friends testified that he was a distinctive person , especially in the arm armature course.

Passing away:

The soul which promoted to the high features and which faced the enemy will have an appointment with its creator. In 3rd of March, 2003 and especially at 2 o'clock early morning, Walid was doing his religious duty in the police navy position western Al-Nussairat camp; a Zionist drone shelled one rocket at least towards Walid. He martyred after he succumbed of wounds sustained.
