Mohammed Ibrahim Abu Sha'ar was born on October 21st, 1987 in Ash-Shaboura district in Rafah. He rose in a humble family who was deported from Per As-sabaa town in the occupied Palestine. He was a clever student; he studied psychological guidance at Al-Aqsa University.

High virtues:

In a Very early time, Mohammed joined the mosque in his neighborhood. He was Muslim indeed; he was always smiling at others. His heart was pure, and he had not hated anyone. He was very kind with his parents and brothers. His mother says that he was giving her all his salary to buy whatever she likes.

Due to his good manners, his brothers in Hamas elected him to be a member in the movement. He was an active member, he shared in many of work groups like: outdoor camps and training scout camps, also was writing for the public work committee.

Brave situations:

His father told us that during one of the invasions on their district, he demanded him to go to their relatives' house in Khanyounis town, but he Mohammed said:"If you want me to go for a normal visit, I will go. But if it is a matter of fear and cowardice, I'm not going. I will live or die here".

In another situation, his father said that when he asked him about marriage, he told him that he yearns to martyrdom especially after the martyrdom of his close friends Mohannad Awwad and Ibrahim Madi.

 Al Qassam Brigades:

By the end of 2004, Mohammed joined to Ezzedeen Al Qassam Brigades in Ash-Shaboura neighborhood. He was chose as a group leader, and as coach for mujahedeen. Abu Asim participated in many of the jihad tasks to repel the incursions of the Israeli incursions and attempts to strip east of the Rafah border; he was also one of the heroes of the Special Unit of Al Qassam Brigades.

Mission:

One of his leaders said that missions that were given to Mohammed were totally special and different. During the Zionist invasion on December 27th, 2008 he was firing the Zionist settlements with mortars, and he was providing resistant members with accouterment.

Martyrdom:

On January 4th, 2009 Mohammed performed Al-Asr prayer and went to fire a rocket toward Zionist settlements. After finishing his mission, a Zionist drone fired him a rocket so he martyred at once. Witnesses said that his last words in this life were" la ilaha illa Allah, Mohammed rasoulo llah" (There is no god but Allah, Mohammed is the prophet of Allah).
