Al-Bureij camp

Name: Majdi Nader Jaber.

Residence: Al-Bureij camp.

Date of martyrdom: December 27th, 2008.

Background:

On October 31st, 1987, Majdi Nader Jomaa Jaber was born in Al-Bureij camp to be the fourth child for ten-member family. This family was expelled from its house in Al-Maghar village by the Zionist gangs in 1948. He lived with happy family; he played with his neighborhood's children and he interested in imitating others.

From the very beginning, he was connected to his home which he did not see, but his parents told him about it. They told him how beautiful it was, and how the Zionist gangs expelled them under shedding of the pure Palestinian blood in1948.

In his sixth year, he entered the school to study as any child; he finished the elementary, preparatory and secondary grades, and then stopped studying. His first work was a police man in the excusive force which was formed by the Palestinian police for security.

Majdi knew his way to the Masjid in an early age; the masjid, where he learned many things about religion and virtues, affected his manner.

He was very kind with his parents; he used to joke with his mother and he used to visit his relatives with his father. He loved his brothers and sisters, especially, his brother's daughter. He used to ask about everybody he knows whether a friend or a neighbor. He liked playing football.

Jihad:

As thus, that we mentioned above, Majdi was chosen to work in the rows of Al-Qassam Brigades in 2005. Years before, he did hard work through participating in most events that Hamas organized. During his work with the brigades he participated in many tasks like:

  1. Rabat in advanced points beside the seam line.
  2. Participating in digging tunnels in preparing for the Zionist incursions.

He was known between his companions with his readiness at anytime and his commitment to his Rabat.

Martyrdom:

On Saturday, December 27th, 2008, the Zionist entity bombed the police station "Abu Meddain", so Majdi wounded and martyred a day later.
