Ehab Al-Banna
Abu Ali
Name: Ehab Ali Al-Banna.
Residence: Jabalia camp.
Date of martyrdom: January 19th, 2008.
Background:
- Ehab Ali Al-Banna was born on March 10th, 1979 in Jabalia camp.
- He stopped studying after finishing preparatory grade due to the hard conditions.
- Then moved to work to help his father and assist his family.
- He was known with his good manners.
- He had a distinguished relation with his parents; he was very obedient to them.
Mujahed… different means:
In 1987, Ehab was 8 years old; however, he participated in throwing stones on the armed Zionist soldiers. With his small stone, he was sending massage to this coward soldier saying:”This is my home, I’ll defend it anyway”.
Later on, when he grew up, Ehab joined Hamas movement and participated in most of its activities. After the clashes had risen between the Palestinian youth and the Zionist soldiers in the second Intifada, Ehab asked his friends to join Al-Qassam Brigades to resist the Zionist arrogance against his people and home.
In 2003, his demand was fulfilled, and he became one of Al-Qassam mujahedeen. He participated with his companions in addressing most of the Zionist incursions in north Gaza. In one of the invasions, he targeted a Zionist tank advanced to “Twam” district with one missile and damaged it.
Martyrdom:
On Saturday night, 19/1/2008, a Zionist special force sneaked to “Abed Rabbo” district east of Jabalia and surrounded home of one of the mujahedeen. Ehab rushed as all other companions to the place to address the force. While Ehab was ready in the battle field, a Zionist drone fired him with one rocket, so he martyred at once.
