Name: Yasser Arafat Sa'ed Shbeir

Martyrdom date: June 14th, 2009.
Background:
- Yasser Shbeir was born 1981 in Jabalya camp.
- He studied in his camp's schools and was excellent.
- He was very popular between his friends and relatives.
- He was a real Muslim adherent to the Islamic virtues.
- Worked hard with the Islamic bloc while studying.
From the beginning, Yasser loved the resistance path because he found it as the only way to realize the Palestinian stolen rights. Therefore, he participated in addressing several Zionist incursions in different regions.
He was very popular since his childhood, his parents told us that he was very kind with them & all his family members loved him.
Martyrdom:
Yasser joined the Islamic resistance movement Hamas in 2003, but in 2006, Al Qassam leadership saw his behavior & commitment in the virtue, so they accept his request of being a member in Al Qassam Brigades, so he became a member in As-Sabraa area.
Yasser participated with his friends in shelling the Zionist forces which tried to invade Gaza strip, he fired mortars, rockets & detonated bombs under the Zionist tanks & vehicles, his friends witnessed for him that he was very brave.
He was martyred on Sunday, June 14th, 2009 after his injury during the war on Gaza last January. He was wounded in a Zionist raid, then he moved to Egyptian hospitals for treatment.
The Mujahed was martyred after many years of hard work and sacrifice in defending his home from the Zionist occupation. He was martyred after being injured in one of the Zionist bloodiest crime in which the Zionist forces killed more than 1500 Palestinian innocents.
Al Qassam Brigades mourn the death of the Mujahedeen, reaffirms the commitment and determination to continue the resistance against the belligerent occupation forces.
