Background:

He was born in July 25^th, 1981 in Jabalya camp, his family roots back to the occupied city of Zarnoka. His family consists of nine girls and two brothers.

He finished his study in his camp schools then he join to the Islamic university, but he could not complete his study in the Islamic university seeing to the intifada conditions, he concerned on the resistant action against the Zionist entity.

The mosque changed his life where he became worshiper man, His mother said, "I was inviting him to take his dinner but he was answering me, I am fastening."

Al Qassam Brigades:

Belal joined to Al Qassam Brigades at the beginning of the intifada, he worked at the beginning with the leader fawzi Abu Al Qare'a, and he was charge on several groups in area and in Biet Lahia city.

He participated in firing mortars at the Zionist military sites and bases north of Gaza strip with the leader Wael Nassar. In addition, he guard to Hamas leader Fathi Hammad.

Hamas leadership assigns him as the head of security branch of Hamas movement north of Gaza strip.

He participated with his friends in defending several areas all over Gaza strip. Belal participated in protecting Jabalya camp 2004, which continued for 17 days.

Martyrdom:

Before days of his martyrdom, he felt that he would die soon; his wife said, "He told me to educate his two children as it should be.

"On June 25^th, 2006, he went in the midnight to check Al Qassam men during their working, he martyred during his duty.

The Brigades said in its statement "The Mujahed was martyred after many years of hard work and sacrifice in defending his home from the Zionist occupation.

"Al Qassam Brigades mourn the death of the Mujahedeen, reaffirms the commitment and determination to continue the resistance against the belligerent occupation forces," the Brigades said.
