Childhood
He was born in 1974 in the city of Nablus.. He lived with a conservative family with four brothers and a sister. He is the eldest to his father. Ayman was his mother’s favorite child. He was married and his wife gave birth to a baby 6 months before his martyrdom.
Education
Ayman finished his secondary school from Nablus schools then enrolled in the faculty of engineering at Birzeit University. He was jailed by the occupation forces during his studies. The occupation forces prevented Ayman from continuing his studies.
Prison and the life of Agony
Ayman suffered a lot in the occupation jails. The jailers were intent on making his life as miserable and unstable as possible. In 1998 Ayman was shuffled among the prisons of Majedo, Nafha, Asqalan, Al-Ramla, and Beir El-Saba. During the interrogation, Ayman was severely beaten and abused. As a result, he was taken to the hospital. But despite the torture and pain, Ayman took part in a hunger strike organized by fellow prisoners against torture.

After his release late 1999, Ayman took the responsibility of leading the defense against confiscating the Palestinian land and killing the innocent Palestinian civilians. He was the leader of many resistance operations inside the occupied land of Palestine.
Assassination
On Monday, 22 October 2001, the occupation forces assassinated Ayman ‘Adnan Mohammed Halawa, 26. At approximately 20:20, Halawa was traveling in a civilian car on an-Najah University Street. The car exploded. Halawa died instantly while another occupant of the car was injured. In addition, two civilians passing nearby were injured.
