Background:
Mahmoud Mu'en Ar-Reefi was born in 1990 in Gaza city. His family house is humble. He studied in his camp's schools. He joined the Islamic university. He was very popular between his friends and relatives.
He was a real Muslim adherent to the Islamic virtues. Also he worked hard with the Islamic bloc while studying. Mahmoud friends described as the man of virtue, his mother died when he was ten years old. His friends in the mosque told us that he was a brilliant swimmer, when the kids went in a journey, he was learning how to swim, in addition, he saved several people were nearby to drown.
Al Qassam Brigades
Mahmoud loved the resistance path because he found it as the only way to realize the Palestinian stolen rights. Therefore, he participated in addressing several Zionist incursions in different regions.
Al Qassam leadership saw his behavior & commitment in the Palestinian society, so they accept his request of being a member in Al Qassam Brigades, so he became Qassam member in Gaza city in 2001.
Martyrdom:
He martyred on January 2nd, 2009, he directed to the battle field near Az-Zaytoun neighborhood, he Participated with friends in resisting the Zionist forces, he managed to capture two Zionist soldiers during the battle, he tried to take them out of the Zionist warplanes shelled its own soldiers and Mahmoud was with them also.
The mujahed was martyred after many years of hard work and sacrifice in defending his home from the Zionist occupation.
Al Qassam Brigades mourn the death of the Mujahedeen, reaffirms the commitment and determination to continue the resistance against the belligerent occupation forces.
