Background:

Mamoud Hasan Al A'abed was born in April 30^th, 1979, in Ash-Sheikh Redwan neighborhood. His family house is humble. He studied in his camp's schools. He joined the Islamic university. He was very popular between his friends and relatives.

He was a real Muslim adherent to the Islamic virtues. Also he worked hard with the Islamic bloc while studying. He refuse to marry, his priority was his work and his future.

Mamoud loved his parents a lot, his mother described her relation with him as "Special", his mother was account on him to help her in doing several works for her.

Mamoud friends described as the man of virtue, his mother died when he was ten years old. His friends in the mosque told us that he was a brilliant swimmer, when the kids went in a journey, he was learning how to swim, in addition, he saved several people were nearby to drown.

In the resistance path:

Mamoud loved the resistance path because he found it as the only way to realize the Palestinian stolen rights. Therefore, he participated in addressing several Zionist incursions in different regions.

Al Qassam leadership saw his behavior & commitment in the virtue, so they accept his request of being a member in Al Qassam Brigades in 2000.

Martyrdom:

He martyred on June 15^th, 2002, he went to his family house, then played with his brothers and sisters, they didn’t know that he will execute a martyrdom operation except his mother, she knew that.

As all the Palestinian mothers, when she heard that a Palestinian youth execute an operation against the occupiers who killed the Palestinian women and children, she was very happy that the operation of her son succeeded.

He was martyred after a bright history of hard work with Al Qassam for his home "Palestine".

Al Qassam Brigades mourns the death of the mujahed, reaffirms the commitment and determination to continue the resistance against the belligerent occupation forces.
