Childhood:
Ahmad was born in 1978 in Al-Khalil, and studied in the city's schools till the beginning of Secondary school, when left school to work and help his father.
Ahmad grew up in a family that taught him the morals and ethics of Islam. He was very obedient to his parents. His hobbies included swimming, weight-lifting, and horse-back riding.
Be'r Al-Saba operation:
In March 2004, the Zionist forces assassinated the Sheikh Ahmad Yassin and in April in the same year, they assassinated the Hamas leader Dr. Abdel Aziz El-Ranitsi.
In addition to these crimes, there were the daily crimes and terror operations by the occupation forces against Palestinian civilians. There were promises that these crimes will not go unpunished; and they were fulfilled.
After Ahmad carried out the operation in Be’r Al-Saba, his father said, "I didn't imagine that my son would be a martyr, and the one to avenge the Zionist aggression against us. Even if he told me that he is going to carry out an operation against the Zionist forces, I will tell him to go and do it.”
Ahmad’s father added that Zionist forces are responsible for the violence since they did not release more than 7000 prisoners; and they were responsible for killing thousands of Palestinians. He stated, “We have the right to defend ourselves since our children and women are killed daily.”
On 31-08-2004, Ahmad and Nasim Al-Jabari entered two Zionist buses and blew up the two buses. 16 Zionists were killed and 100 were injured.
