Ayed El-Basheety was born in 1973 and raised in a conservative family. He was an ordinary man. He finished his primary and prep studying in UNRWA schools. Later He enrolled in the Islamic university but he didn’t continue his studies due to his difficult economic situation. Later, Ayed got married and had six children Mohammed, Yehya, Yousef, Mousa, Kefah and Alia. Ayed was known for his kindness to his parents and family.
Work
The Occupation Forces committed many crimes inside the Palestinian civilians. In response, Ayed shared in resisting the occupation forces. However, the Palestinian Security Forces in the previous Palestinian government chased him for along time. Finally, he was arrested in 1996 with many fighters from Al-Qassam Brigades. He stated in the Palestinian prisons for six months. After the eruption of Al-Aqsa Intifada , he participated in Ezzdeen Al-Qassam Brigades activities against the occupation forces. He was between the first men who were starting the "tunnel war" against the occupation forces and settlers in the Gaza Strip.
Martyrdom
After forming a new Qassam group to explode tunnels under the check points such as "Hardon location" in Rafah, Ayed left his brothers from Al-Qassam Brigades in many successful operations.
The occupation forces tried many times to assassinate Ayed but failed in each try. In the first time, the Israeli apaches shut his car but it didn’t explode, so he survived. In the second time, he had a hard electric shock and either he survived. But in September 05, 2006, while he was driving his car with his friend, the occupation forces shot two missiles at his car. He martyred immediately. By that, a man, who had a hard well, had gone after along fighting with the occupation forces.
