Al Qassam Website - The Islamic Resistance Movement’s Hamas delegation led by Secretary General of its Political Bureau Khaled Mashaal arrived in Moscow on Monday. From the airport Mashaal and his delegation members went to the Russian Foreign Ministry for talks with Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

According to Hamas representative in Lebanon Osama Hamdan who is among the delegation members, “In Moscow Mashaal plans to discuss issues related to prospects for the inter-Palestinian dialogue, the Arab-Israeli settlement situation, as well as the situation in the Gaza Strip that slightly more than a year ago suffered Zionist entity’s aggression.”

Hamdan stressed that the “visit of Hamas delegation to Russia is paid at the invitation of RF Foreign Minister Lavrov.”

“The visit is held with in the framework of permanent consultations of the Islamic Resistance Movement with the Russian authorities. We intend to maintain this dialogue,” the Hamas representative stated.
