Jenin - Israeli soldiers prevented a Norwegian delegation of solidarity of the Norwegian youth movement to support of Palestine from entering the city of Jenin in the West Bank, and forced them to return to the city of Jericho.

The movement issued a statement to the press expressing their resentment of how Israeli soldiers treated them by searching them and preventing them from completing their journey to Jenin.

The movement also condemned the policies of the Israeli occupation, stressing that it would not retreat from its role and activities which will support the Palestinian people's rights in all forums and expose the policies of Israeli occupation and their flagrant violations of Palestinian human rights.

The Israeli occupation authorities imposed a comprehensive security cordon on the West Bank which starts from midnight tonight until midnight next Sunday, on the occasion of the Jewish holidays.
