Israeli court adjourns trial hearing of hunger striker
Al Qassam website- Ramallah- The Israeli military court in Ofer refused on Monday to release Sheikh Khader Adnan, an Islamic Jihad leader, who has been on hunger strike for 44 days.
Lawyer of the Palestinian prisoner’s association Mahmoud Al-Halabi, who attended the hearing, said that Adnan was in a very weak condition and was carried to court in a wheelchair.
Adnan was carried in an ambulance from the Ramle prison hospital to Ofer court, he said, adding that the court adjourned Adnan’s hearing to Wednesday.
The lawyer held the Israeli occupation authority responsible for consequences of Adnan’s very bad condition.
