During the reporting period, IOF killed one Palestinian resistance activist in the Gaza Strip, and wounded 17 others, including a woman, in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. On 01 March 2010, Israeli troops stationed at the border between the Gaza Strip and Israel killed a Palestinian resistance activist, when they fired 4 flechette shells at a number of resistance activists.  On 26 February 2010, a Palestinian resistance activist was wounded during armed clashes with Israeli troops that had moved into al-Shouka village, southeast of Rafah.
