Background
Sa'eed was born on October 13, 1983 in Tulkarem. He finished his secondary school from "Ihsan school" in Tulkarem. Then , he started studying economics at Al-Najah University in Nablus. Sa'eed was a member in the Islamic (student) Bloc at university.
Journey of Resistance
In addition to his great sporting abilities, Said trained himself on different kinds of weapons to be a member in Al-Qassam Brigades. After working in Al-Qassam Brigades for a long time, Sa'eed became wanted to the occupation forces. During his journey of resistance against the occupation forces, he carried out many operations, mostly against occupation army soldiers. In one of these operations, he detonated an explosive device against an occupation army jeep, injuring 4 soldiers.
Arrest
After nine months on the occupation's wanted list, Said was surprised by a group of undercover occupation troops in a civilian vehicle. He was arrested on February 12, 2005. He was interrogated and tortured.
Sentence
On December 8 , 2005 , Sa'eed was sentenced for life. But upon appealing the sentence, it was reduced to 18 years. He is currently held in Jalbo' prison.
