From Nuseirat refugee camp, in the middle of Gaza Strip, we offer the story of pain to the prisoner Mohamed Ibrahim Alderawi (Hamada), who was sentenced to 30 years in the prisons of the Zionist occupation.

He was born in January 30, 1978 in the Nuseirat refugee camp, in a humble family taught him the good manners and the virtue. He was  known of  his commitment in the Nuseirat ancient mosques. He accompanied many mujahideen such as Muhannad Swedan, He has six brothers and sisters.

He finished his primary and prep schools in the Nuseirat refugee camp, he moved to Khalid Bin Walid high school, he joined the Islamic University in the Department of History, but he was arrested before graduation.

In the PA prisons

The Palestinian authority arrested him many times and sometimes for a long time, the several rounds of the investigation was to obtain the information of his resistance to the occupation forces.  

New considerations to deal with the issue of the prisoners

After the hard pressure of the prisoners in the prisons of the Zionist occupation, the Zionist entity told the Palestinian government Prime Minister representative, at that time ,Mahmoud Abbas, that their case is a security issue and not a political issue,the prisoners situations was very bad.

The prison administrations torturous methods, the human right associations have heard recently that thousands of Palestinian prisoners became ill, as Sheikh Jamal Abu Al hija, his wife, and others of thousands of our people.

Difficult situation for Hamada

Hamada was one of those who had a big suffer. His story began in the Zionist Nafha prison, the Zionist occupation forces arrested him in March 1^st, 2000, he was sentenced thirty years.

His health is declining from what it faces inside the rooms of torture, they beat him severely during the investigation, they keep moving him from a prison to prison. He was taken to Al Majdal, Beer Al Saba prison, and then to the desert Nafha prison.

Hamada was wounded in his hand in the operation of arresting him. One may expect that he will be under care in the hospital till the time of being in a good health. However , the occupation forces prevented doctors from serving him.

As a means of pressure

Hamada Investigators used his injury as a mean to take confessions, that led to a direct impact on the nerves of his hand, which made him unable to control with it including the disability of lifting anything, which forced the Zionist doctors deciding an urgent surgery.

That was in Al Majdal prison but he was moved to Al Saba prison. His health has not followed up by the departments of prison.

His story raised in the International Red Cross, and indeed the doctors from the Red Cross visited him and confirmed  to an urgent surgery to save his hand, but the department of the prison was  not interested in the case.

The prison department neglected  the humanitarian issue completely, then he moved to Nafha prison, but the occupation rejects to execute surgery. The suffering in prison is getting bigger and bigger.

Under the supervision of doctors

As a result of these matters, he is suffering these days from severe headaches. His health became very bad while the prison administration did not deal with his surgery in the hand  seriously.

Aspect of health warns of the danger

In addition to his bad health , the occupation forces  prevented  his family to visit him claiming that he  was arrested for security reasons.

In recent developments in his health matters, he is suffering from a relaxation in the muscles and nerves face. Thus, till this moment, the prison administration gave him  drugs despite the fact that his case is difficult.

The prison administration has sent him to the hospital because his situation became very bad. The doctors decided to make the nerve surgery to him. However, for unknown reasons, the Zionist prison administration didn’t allow the hospital to do the surgery.
