The men who join to Al Qassam Brigades always wait the chance to attack the occupation . The beginning of the story is  that he directed  to his work. He made an ambush to a Zionist settler. After this incident, the journey of pursuing  started.

Child hood

Ashraf Mahmoud Ghazi Al wawi was born in September 24^th of  1973. He lived a hard childhood. He was the eldest son between three sisters and three brothers. He was helping his father in a workshop for mending washing machines, refrigerators, and electrical machines.

He was faithful to his mother and his parents. In the sixteenth of his age, an incident happened. His life changed when his mother died. He was a brilliant in his study but for the difficult situations. He directed to work in the occupied land in 1948.     

In Al Qassam Brigades

After he killed the Zionist settler, who was disturbing the Palestinians in his town "Palma" by shooting at the civilians in the streets. The leader Zaher Jabbarin offered him to join to the Brigades. He agreed!. So he was  the first to be wanted  man in his area.

"Dair Ballot" operation:

This operation was in "Salfeet" town in Al-Khalil city in the West Bank. After a  long watching for Dair Ballot check point near "Alqana" settlement south of Salfeet, Ashraf decided to attack it. On Friday 1993, they moved till they arrived near the check point. They started to fire at the Zionist soldiers. Many of the soldiers were killed. One of Al Qassam members was  martyred, and others were injured during the operation. The rest of the team succeeded to pull out. The Zionist army arrested a lot of his group. So he left Salfeet area and back to his town Palma. However, the Zionist occupation make an ambush to him by the traitors and special forces.      

Arrest

He was arrested in September 10th of 1993 in the main street which led to Tulkarem. Then they took him to the investigation centers after long weeks of torture. The Zionist court sentenced him for a life. Every one thought that it is the end of the story. He participated in the resistance despite he was in the prison. In Asqlan desert prison.  Zionist soldiers discovered by chance a tunnel in its final stages. They beat him severely. The Zionist prison administration still moving him to many jails to make sure that this will not be done again.
