Name: Abed Al Rahman Salah.

Coffee seller

Abed Al Rahman Salah was born in 1954 in the village of "Kafer Bathan". He brought up in humble family. His wife from a near village to his village called "Om Tot. He has seven sons, two brothers and five sisters. The Zionist army arrested him since he was child. In the prison, he knew the great leader "Naser Khalid Jarrar".

Abed Al Rahman was a hawker coffee seller. He began to sell the coffee since the middle of 70th. All the people of Jineen knew him. His coffee is the best.

The beginning of his Jihad  

He was wondering all the day in his town. He saw the Zionist aggression on the Palestinian civilians. He participated in throwing the stones on the Zionist armories.

The Zionist army caught him Many times when he was throwing stones. They beat him severely and smashed his tools. He was arrested many times an administrative arresting.

In Al Qassam brigades

He joined to the brigades Since beginning of Al Aqsa intifada. Every single Abed Al Rahman was the assistance of sheik Naser Jarrar. But none of his acquaintances thought that he is a member in Ezzdeen Al Qassam brigades. He was fifty years old.

His main role in the brigades was transferring the martyrdoms to their targets, and transferring the explosives from place to another. Since the first moment in the brigades, he insist to be a martyrdom. Finally sheik Jarrar agreed.

He was supposed to execute "double" operation with another martyrdom. He carried twenty kilos of explosives. When he became near the border(between West Bank and the Zionist entity). He saw the military consolidation. He knew that the passing is impossible so he came back.

The arresting day

In July 25th 2002, hundred of the Zionist soldiers stormed his home. They didn’t find anything but his children and his wife. They searched and destroyed the prosperities in the house. They moved to one of his relatives' house. The Zionist army arrested him with his son at down. Later they release his son.

Abu Mohammed exposed to hard investigation for two months. He was transferred to many Zionist jails. When he was in Ramla jail. He participated in the prisoners' protestation to improve the prisoners conditions. The soldiers broke his leg. The Zionist court sentenced him for a life. Since that time no one heard from him.

His elder son

Like father like son, Mohammed is the elder son to Abed Rahman. He was direct to his work in the municipality of Jineen. The Zionist tanks invaded the city. He stopped his bike and began to throw stones on the tanks, as his father done before in the first intifada.

Mohammed climb the tank. He tried to pull the gun from above of it. But Zionist soldier shot him in his leg. They leave him bleeding for twenty minutes. After that they shot him twice in his chest. So he martyred immediately.

But the strange thing that his family didn’t know about how his father feeling in the prison. Or even if his father, Abed Al Rahman, knew that his son was martyred. As we said, no one heard of Abed Al Rahman since trial. Om Mohammed has nothing to do but to continue with a lot of obstacles, without husband and without her elder son.
