Three brothers in the Zionist jails
Sawafta family has sacrificed their best sons to fight against the occupation forces. Some of them was sentenced for life and others for fifteen years. The charge is refusing to accept the occupation and wanting to live in freedom.
Horrible night
In a windy night in November 18th,2002, the Zionist special forces raided the house of Sawafta family. The family is living in Tubas area. The Zionist army called for curfew in all over the town. The officer in the intelligence raided the house and arrested two of its sons, Sameer and Ahmed.
But Sameer wasn’t in the house. The forces broke into the neighbor house. The forces found Sameer and arrested him. The journey of suffering began.
During Detention
Although the atmosphere of the prison is very bad and different types of torture are used against prisoners, there are prisoners who adapt to this kind of agony and keep steadfast against the oppressors.
Sameer has suffered a Blood pressure disease in the jail. The officers threaten him to torture his parents in front of him. The investigator hit him on sensitive areas from his body.
Occupation forces have prevented Sawafta family from visiting their two sons since 2001. But they live on the hope that freedom will be attained soon
Arrest:
He was charged of being a member in Al-Qassam Brigades, planning to kill traitors and contributing to resisting the occupation. He was sentenced for a life in prison. After being charged of planning to kill traitors and sending two martyrs Ahmed and Ayman Hanani. His brother Ahmed was sentenced for four years.
Hard separate:
Sameer's family is living in tragedy. The Zionist army arrested the first son two months before Sameer. Then the Zionist army arrested the other two sons. The fourth member in the family is in the exile since 11 years. Another son to the family was martyred in November 21st,1989 during a confrontation.
Sameer's wife
She said " he was everything in my life after I lost my dad, mother and brother". The Zionist administration prevented his parents from visiting Sameer. His wife added " I visited him since his arrest just two times".
