His study:

Magdey completed his study in the scientific stream, he was ambitious to specialize in physics. He affiliated to Al-Quds university and he studied there for one year, no longer he joined the Islamic Block in the same university. The Zionists forces witnessed him. They captured him and threatened him to leave the university otherwise they will kidnap him. 

Meanwhile, he left Al-Quds university to study in Polytechnic university ,he specialized in engineering and he graduated in 2000.Then he affiliated to work in the Islamic charity assembly for the orphans in Dowara.In this period Magdey was a good man as his mother said.

Arrest:

In 9^tth of March,2002 a Zionist military unit arrested him after the information they had that Magdey was responsible for many things; for example, many martyrdom operations were related to him, also the shooting of fire in southern Khaleel caused more than 200zionists killed. Magdey was taken to the  unstopped investigation for a year in Asqlan jail. In this stage he faced a lot of torture even he was injured in his face.

Another thing about arrest, Magdey was arrested twice from the Zionist forces , he spent 40 days in the continuous investigation in Al-Dahrya’s jail in 1995. In 1997, he was arrested and sent to Madjedo for a year putting him in a confined room alone.

In the jail:

In the last day of the court, Magdey stood in front of the court. The judge asked him;” Why did you stand up?”. Magdey replied,” I had stood up in respect of my parents. Then the judge told him that you are accused of killing children and men. As a reply to this question Magdey said that you are the only responsible for the killing of the innocent people He added that I killed a Zionist solider near to Keryat Arbaa and his children were with him in his car, but I didn’t shoot him; in contrast, you are shelling the resident homes and you don’t care of killing the innocent people.

The judge remained silent and Magdey began reciting some verses from Sourat Al-Essraa which explain the conditions surrounding the end of the Zionist entity. Then, the judge asked Magdey to repeat what he had said and ordered the translator to translate what was he reciting.   

The destinations charged to Magdey:

The military court accused him in joining Al-Qassam Brigades, Killing a Zionist in 221,relating to a leader in Al-Qassam western the West Bank” Ali Allan”, sending the martyrdom “Mahmoud Al-Qawasmi”to Haifa city to execute an operation in the 5^th of March,2003 which killed 17 Zionists and finally having explosive materials and developing it with “ Akram Al-Atrash” and “ Abdullah Al-Qawasmi”.   

Heroic situations:

When Magdey heard about the operation which happened in Haifa, he heard that the martyrdom was carrying a bomb on his shoulder which weighs 50 kilograms, Magdey wondered a little then he said that the martyrdom was carrying a bomb which weighs 4 kilograms but his it’s effect was like one which weighs 50 kilograms.

After he was sentenced as it was said, that he was renting a house in Al-Khaleel city and he was using it as an operation room . In the 3^rd of March,2003 Magdey and other two brotherhoods were preparing for an operation . In the next day, Magdey sent the martyrdom “ Mahmoud Al-Qawasmi” in his car to one of Jerusalem entrances , then Magdey came back to his home in Dowara and sat in a chair watching the television. After two hours the news began to speak about an operation which happened in Haifa.  

During his sentencing, the judge told Magdey that he was charged with rendering children as orphans and women as widows. Magdey replied saying, “I killed a settler near the settlement of Keryat Arbaa. He saw me and raised his gun; but I killed him first. I saw his wife and children in the car; but I didn’t fire at them. But you bombard houses and kill women and children. You don’t care about killing them.”

Magdey’s father says, “The judge remained silent and didn’t answer Magdey.”

Sentence:

Magdey was charged with training to use weapons, killing the settler David Cohen in July 2001, sending Mahmoud El-Qawasmi to carryout the Haifa operation on 5 March 2002, possession and manufacturing explosives and liaison with Al-Qassam leaders Ali Al’lan, Akram Al-Atrash and Abd’Allah El-Qawasmi. The total sentence in years is 1080!
