From Al Qassam Founders

The leaders companion:

Our detainee today is from Jabalia camp and he was among the first Mujahideen who joined the ranks of the Al Qassam Brigades. Fadi companioned many Qassam leaders in the northern region of Gaza Strip. He companied Emad Aqel in his Jihad mission and he participated lots of Mujahideen in their missions who martyred before him like the martyr Mohammed Hendi and Mahir Abu Suroor.

Detention:

On September, 30^th 1992, he was with many Al Qassam men inside a house in the Beach Camp in the Gaza city. At 10 o'clock, big Zionist forces confined the area , but the Mujahideen succeeded in fleeing from the Zionist forces. Unfortunately, the Zionist forces seized Fahid and he was only 17-year-old. Directly, he was taken to Ber Sabi Zionist jail. In this jail he suffered different types of torture and investigation which is internationally forbidden and prohibited.

He spent several months in the Zionist investigating centers , cells and solitary confinement. Despite the extreme torture and the arrogance of the executioner, he remained steadfast as the lion.

Defending the rights:

He stayed several years in the Majdal jail, before transforming him to Nafha desert prison. He spent a whole year, transferring from a Zionist prison to another, and in every jail he was defending the rights of the Palestinian prisoners. After a year of detention, the Zionist court sentenced him all life jai as he was accused of participating in killing the Zionist soldiers and clashing with the Zionists in the Gaza Strip

Hard conditions:

His family lives a difficult life conditions, especially after the illegal sentence against him, and the Zionist entity has not permitted the Fahid family from the visit inside the jail. As his mother has not seen him since half and a year and his brothers also the same thing.

His family consists of thirteen members, he is the third among his brothers, and all of them live in a normal house in Jabalia Camp. Despite the simplicity of his family life conditions, his family gave a Mujahid.

Describable feeling:-

His father says," Fahid is a courageous man, he was moving between the soldiers without being felt by anyone, he was disguising with the clergymen uniform'.'The family was shocked at time of Fahid detention."

" Fahid used to play football and basketball since his childhood", his father added.

Weapon:

It was known that the Jihad missions and tasks of Hamas movement were simple due to the lake of the developed weapons and the weapons were few. Despite all these things, the Mujahideen have not stopped the Jihad missions against the Zionist invaders, that Fahid fought along with Emad Aqel, the detainee Basim Al-Kurd and the detainee Mohammed Othmaman by their simple guns and by their strong faith and belief. They caused the Zionist enemy lots of fatal losses.

Weakness of sight:

The Zionists, inside the jai, deliberately exhausted the detainee physically and mentally, they put him the dark cells for long months, that he didn't see the light. Due to the extreme torture, he suffered from a weakness in his sight. Beside that the Zionist administration refused interring the clothes sent by his family and he suffered from an extreme pain in his teeth.
