As a young man the person thinks how to earn money, how to get married, or how to travel abroad; but this hero thought in one thing how to kick out this enemy which killed his people and stole his land.

Background:

He is Mohammed Aref Mohammed Bsharat; A Qassam prisoner in the Zionist jails. He was born in Tammoun village in the north of Nablus city to a nine-member family. He is the second after a daughter.

Mohammed entered the mosque at his childhood, and he took care of it. He used to clean it and take the role of the muezzin when he is absent.

He could not finish his secondary study before being arrested due to his heroic operations against the Zionist occupation, but he finished it with a good average inside the prison in 98-99.

The first operation:

In 1990, Mohammed started his first Qassam operations. He stabbed three settlers in one of the agricultural settlements in Jordan valley near his village. One was killed two were wounded in the operation thenceforth he became wanted for the Zionist occupation which let no place to look for him.

He stilled chased by the occupation for about one and half years. On 22/9/1992, he planned to perform an operation in the central station of the Zionist army in the French hill in Jerusalem, but he was discovered and arrested. During the arrest, he shot an officer directly to death.

Shocked the Zionist entity:

The Zionist entity got very angry of that operation which hit them in the heart. Short period later, Mohammed was sentenced to imprisonment for 75 years.

He moved between different investigation centers like Al-Maskobiya where he subjected to hard and inhumane way of investigation resulted in decrease of hearing in one of his ears.

Moving between prisons:

During his arrest, Mohammed was transferred between many Zionist jails. He moved between Jnaid, Ar-Ramla, Nafha and beer As-saba, and now he is in the central jail of Askalan.

Mohammed suffered from the solitary detention, especially, in the first years of arrest. He spent a long period of isolation in the cells of Ar-Ramla prison.

Health decadence:

He, also, suffered from different diseases as a result of health mistreatment and bad nourishment. He lost 40% of his weight because of the serious stomach disease.

Mohammed was subjected to many surgeries after his health had deteriorated seriously. He is still follow diet to avoid other decadence.

No visit:

As all Palestinian families, Mohammeds family suffered a lot because they could not visit him continually. During this Intifada, they have not visited him for two years because of the Zionist prevention.

His father died on April 2006, and he could not see his son for two years due to his illness and lack of vision.

Nowadays, no one is allowed to visit him except his old mother who suffers a bad health does not help her to abide the difficulties of the visit.
