The Arabic and the international responses to the assassination of Dr.Rantisi on Saturday April 17,2004,  increased.

The Arabic Gulf  Cooperation Council

The secretariat-general for the Arabic Gulf  Cooperation Council in a formal statement condemned the continuation of the Zionist aggression and arrogance.

Bahren

The Bahren  Foreign Minister Nabel Al-Hamr said that the operation of assassinating Rantisi was a country Terror will lead to a dangerous results on the peace process. Al-Hamr refused the assassination  escalation  describing it of the mad action which will increase the tension. 

 Yemen

The Yemen government calls in a statement that Ariel Sharon should be indicted of the war criminal warning that Israel exploited the limitless American support and that will increase the down fall and Israel will be the biggest loser.

Lebanon

The Lebanese president Emel Lahod said in a statement was published in Beirut, "This crime is a ring in a series of the country terror which was conducted by Israel that took the credit from US to prevent the Palestinians from returning to their homes. At same time, Israel is killing today those who stay in their land."

The Islamic Conference Organization

The General secretary of The Islamic Conference Organization Abd El-Wahed Belqeez said that Israel will hold the responsibility of what will happen as a result of assassinating Dr. Rantisi. He calls the international security council to take its part to save the international security and peace.

The Europinian  Union

The Island Foreign Minister Brian Kawon called , in a statement published in Straven that violence should be stop immediately considering that the killing operations out of the international law which is different to be respected by the Democratic governments rather than the Terrorist groups.

Vatican

The Pope Yuhanna Bulis the second in the Sunday sermon in the saint playground in the Vatican that restraint the hostages in Iraq and the assassination of Rantisi are considered inhuman actions. He said , I witnessed the new tragedies that happened in the holy land and Iraq. The bloodshed should be ended…"

France

The French Foreign Ministry declared that France announce another time that the execute out of the law contradicts with the international law and it is not accepted. Every country has the right to protect its people but without violating law. Peace will be achieved by negotiation but not with violence"

Japan

The Japan Foreign Minister , Yuriku Kawajushe said in a statement published in Tokyo that the assassination crime was a reckless action and was  not justified.

Portugal

The Portuguese Foreign Minister Terisa Ghofia condemned the Rantisi assassination saying that this action  will never serve in ending the fight in the Middle East.

Italy

Italy condemned the crime and said that it disagree with the Europe Union all the assassinations.

Britain

The Foreign Minister , Jack Stro , condemned the operation considering it of the out law action and of the unjustified.
